I like this idea and am especially intrigued by sharing it as a newsletter.
Do you then still maintain a "private" version for only our eyes and maybe your manager's? Because what if you spent a good deal of time in a given week solving a tricky inter-personal problem? That's work that should get recognized but probably not publicized.
